Six Smoked Pounders Recipe



4 lbs lean hamburger
2 lbs ground sausage
Onion to taste
Green pepper to taste
Fried bacon pieces to taste
Cheddar cheese chunks
Worcestershire sauce or steak sauce, if desired
Kaiser rolls


  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and make six burgers (1 lb each). Add favourite rub, and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.
  2. Take burgers out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before smoking. Smoke until desired temperature is reached.
  3. Serve on kaiser rolls with desired fixings.
